A few points to consider when planning your entertainment programme:

  1. What time does the ceremony start and what type of music will you require?
  2. Will you require music to entertain your guests whilst you are having photographs taken?
  3. What time will you sit for your meal and will you require music throughout?
  4. At what time will the band have access to the function suite to set-up? (This takes around 50-60 minutes)
  5. At what time will the venue staff have finished preparing the room for your evening entertainment and will you require music as your guests enter the room?
  6. How long will it take for all of your evening guests to assemble, be served drinks, socialise with friends and family and congratulate the Bride and Groom? Will you require background music during this time?
  7. At what time would it be appropriate to expect your guests to be ready to take to the dance floor?
  8. Do you have a 'First Dance' in mind?
  9. If you are having a buffet, what is the best time to have it served?
  10. When do you want your evening entertainment to finish? Has the venue stipulated a time?
